Our Vision
Solving Rural Healthcare
In 2014, 19Labs’ founder, Ram Fish, was leading Digital Health at Samsung. While on vacation in rural Mexico, his daughter became ill.
Ram was aware of the available technology as he worked with the local clinic to address his daughter’s condition. Still, there was no way to remotely access the resources required for the situation.
This inspired Ram to develop a smart first-aid kit, which evolved into what we now know as the GALE platform.
GALE is an affordable, accessible, easy-to-use comprehensive rural healthcare platform that brings a full clinic experience to schools, rural communities, and pharmacies worldwide.
