In the heart of rural Mexico State, where communities face barriers to quality healthcare, a transformative collaboration has taken root. 19Labs supports the ongoing work of Salud Integral México, their medical personnel, and the healthcare services they bring to the residents of communities that would otherwise lack medical services.
Redwood City, CA – November 14, 2023
Salud Integral México was established through the combined efforts of two foundations: Fundación Legorreta Hernandez and Fundación Chico Servitje. These organizations share a common vision, believing that social security is not just a fundamental right but also a powerful tool in the fight against discrimination, poverty, and social exclusion. Salud Integral is a model of that vision and promoter of social inclusion and equity, significantly impacting the lives of those they serve.
"We integrate high-impact projects that, together, generate sustainable changes." - Andrea Hernández, Legorreta Hernández Foundation, President.
"What began as a pilot is today a project that, from a local perspective, has the capacity to change the destiny of Mexicans due to its potential for replicability and social impact." – Jaime Chico, Chico Servitje, President.
Together, these words encapsulate the essence of Salud Integral's mission: creating lasting, positive transformations in the communities they serve.
Salud Integral México currently operates in two communities: El Temporal and El Manzano in Valle de Bravo. In these areas, residents grapple with limited access to healthcare resources. Salud Integral offers a unique care model that combines face-to-face and telemedicine services. This innovative approach bridges the geographical gap and optimizes human and financial resources, making healthcare more accessible and efficient for these remote communities.
In their continuous pursuit of excellence, Salud Integral partnered with 19Labs. Together, we are on a collaborative journey to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to El Temporal and El Manzano residents and beyond. Imagine what could be accomplished with the integration of the knowledge and experience of other organizations willing to collaborate through long-term alliances.
"We are delighted with this collaboration with Salud Integral. This is exemplifying the power of synergy. Together, we are translating cutting-edge technology into impactful solutions, transforming healthcare in rural communities of Valle del Bravo. As we always say, technology alone is never sufficient." - Messias Soares, 19Labs, Head of Customer Success.
One key innovation from this partnership is integrating 19Labs' telemedicine solutions into Salud Integral's existing healthcare framework. This integration expands the reach of healthcare services. It ensures that patients receive timely and expert medical advice without the constraints of distance or connectivity by providing satellite connectivity and secure video solutions. Now, residents access healthcare professionals and have consultations directly from their communities, bridging the gap between them and their required medical expertise.
Additionally, the collaboration has enabled the implementation of mobile healthcare units equipped with advanced diagnostic devices. These units serve as a lifeline for those residing in remote areas, bringing essential medical services right to their doorstep. From diagnostic screenings to preventive healthcare measures, these mobile units have become a beacon of hope, fostering a healthier, more resilient community.
This collaboration has also allowed the Salud Integral team of doctors and nurses to continuously support state Health Campaigns while providing access to medical care to the communities they serve. An example of such is participation in state-level cancer prevention campaigns. The Salud Integral team may travel to multiple communities to support this program. However, they are only a GALE telemedicine call away from regular patients. This has allowed for efficient use of the limited medical personnel of the area without negatively impacting access to healthcare.

The impact of this collaboration extends far beyond the realms of healthcare. By harnessing the power of technology and compassionate care, 19Labs and Salud Integral empower communities, break barriers, and foster a sense of belonging among Valle del Bravo residents. This collaboration exemplifies the immense possibilities that arise when visionaries unite for a common cause, showcasing the transformative potential of innovative solutions in healthcare.
As this collaboration continues to expand across Mexico State, we look forward to empowering communities, supporting healthcare equity, and solving rural healthcare.
